Our Mission

CCI's Mission

In underserved communities, millions are dying from diabetes and high blood pressure. At CCI, our passion is to change the tide of these two primary causes of suffering and early death. We save lives by partnering with others, creating a unique framework of medical resources, education, patient cooperatives, and outcome measurement that enable sustainable long-term care.

The Global Challenge

Diabetes is a global health crisis affecting individuals and communities worldwide. In many developing countries, residents have limited access to medicine, education, even exercise, which exacerbates the impact of diabetes and high blood pressure.

People face not only the physical burden of the disease, but also the emotional and economic toll chronic disease takes on their lives. At CCI, we are committed to reducing healthcare disparities while empowering our patients to connect, share talent, and transform environmental and cultural factors that feed the widespread disease.

By the Numbers*

Adults (30-79 years) are living with high blood pressure

1.28 B

High Blood Pressure occurs when the pressure in your blood vessels is too high (above 140/90). This can harden arteries, decrease blood flow and oxygen to the heart. It is the leading cause of heart disease and can cause chest pain, heart attack and heart failure.  High blood pressure can also burst or block arteries that supply blood and oxygen to the brain, causing a stroke.

Our Response and Commitment

At CCI, we take a hands-on approach, providing healthcare solutions that are both sustainable and community centered. We believe in creating lasting change by focusing on the core issues that contribute to high blood pressure and diabetes and their complications. Our approach extends beyond immediate healthcare provision; we build meaningful relationships with families and the communities we serve, ensuring that they have the support and resources they need to manage their health over the long term. Our commitment is to empower individuals and communities to take control of their health, to improve their well-being, and to transform their lives.
